Description

Objectives: The objective of the module is to gain insight in the role of benefit-risk assessment and pharmacoeconomics in the process of decision-making on medicines by different stakeholders. Topics covered: Introduction Benefits Risk/Harms Principles and methods of comparative benefit-risk assessment Principles of Pharmacoeconomics

Outcomes

At the end of this module, trainees will be able to: - Delineate the process of decision-making and the perspectives of the stakeholders involved - Explain the rationale of benefit-risk assessment and pharmacoeconomic evaluation - Evaluate the methodology and results of benefit-risk and pharmaco-economic studies - Translate of the results into the process of decision-making
